MODEL 37II vacuum-tube hybrid pre-main amplifier
MODEL 37II vacuum-tube hybrid pre-main amplifier with RNS circuit
Model 37II is a vacuum-tube hybrid pre-main amplifier. It reproduces music free of ground noise.
RNS, a leading-edge power circuit
Model 37II employs the return noise suppressor (RNS) circuit. The RNS circuit suppresses “noise” generated in the ground of an amplification circuit. An electric circuit, including copper foil, has a very low resistance. The low resistance generates noise. In theory, as the ground impedance of a power circuit is very low, the noise is absorbed in the power ground. In reality, some of the noise is not absorbed and it affects the power ground. The affected power ground affects the amplification ground. The noise the power ground fails to absorb is coupled to the amplification circuit. The amplification circuit and the power circuit fall into a vicious circle which affects the sound quality. The RNS circuit prevents the vicious circle and enables Model 37II to reproduce music with absolute accuracy and clarity.
Floating ground power amplifier
Model 37II also employs a floating ground circuit to reduce noise. In a floating ground circuit, the ground is isolated to prevent crosstalk in the circuit. And, the ground is not connected to a speaker. That prevents noise from flowing to the speaker. The ground of an ordinary power amplifier is connected to a speaker. The ground contains complex noise components. The noise components flow to the speaker and that results in sound without any nuance or depth. For further noise reduction, Model 37II employs two power amplifiers, a normal phase power amp and a reverse phase power amp. The two amplifiers cancel out the ground noise.

MODEL 45 dual core D/A converter
Dual core digital/analog converter
Model 45 is a dual core D/A converter. It is the only D/A converter in the world that has two separate digital to analog conversion circuits, one for the right channel and the other for the left channel. An ordinary D/A converter has a single circuit. That means the common ground is used for the two channels. The use of the common ground causes crosstalk. That produces the typical dull “digital” sound.
